This guest policy is intended for the purpose of exposing non-members to the BFGC facility. At all times the range rules of the BFGC must be followed.
Each individual full membership member is allowed to bring up to 2 guests per visit. This 2-guest limit applies to a limit of 2 adults. Each individual member can also bring up to 2 children under the age of 18 that are immediate family. We require that all guests watch the Bigfork Gun Club safety video (on the TV screen located in the clubhouse). All guests under the age of 18, are required to be supervised by a full member at all times and have a parent or guardian sign the waver form.
All guests, family or non-family are required to complete the club waiver form prior to doing any active shooting or gun handling. Place the completed waivers in the waiver box located on the table near the entrance door to the clubhouse.
Blank waiver forms, pens, and envelopes can be found on the table directly inside the clubhouse entrance and below the waiver box.
The guest policy is not intended for conducting a formal or informal, paid or un-paid, training class, assessment, certification, or event, etc.—for club members, outside organizations, groups, or individuals. Sharing safety rules, club rules, safe handling and the friendly sharing of ideas between Members/Guests is acceptable. Sharing of friendly ideas is not intended to be a way for trainers to bypass the gun club’s training certification and requirements.
Any exceptions to the above policy require prior approval from the Board of Directors. Please submit any exceptions to the guest policy in writing to the chairman or vice chairman of the Bigfork Gun Club for approval, before using the range. Please submit a trainer application if you do not fall into the guest policy.
